Fits and Starts

Hellooooooooooooooo! It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
I’ve been up, down, and all around for the past month, and things are really pulling together nicely. I’m working out (hello arm muscles, it’s nice to use you again), finding an apartment, visiting friends, remembering how to be a normal person, and I’m knitting. Word. I finished the Marigold Socks and will post photos and a proper write-up by the end of the week. In fact, they are on my feet as I type (…and they are slightly too big…damnit toe-up knitting!!). I re-knit the stupid button band on my Figgy Plum sweater and will sew the buttons on to see if it works. I started new socks and am working on the second Twisted Tweed sock. THINGS ARE COMING TOGETHER! It feels good, people.
I’ve been reading your blogs and am impressed and inspired as usual. I’ll post some comments soonish. I did want to ask if anyone has made socks out of the Weybridge yarn (my favorite yarn ever). I love this yarn and I was thinking knee socks would rock my world but wanted to check in to see if anyone had any experience knitting socks out of it. I suppose I could look on Ravelry but if there are any New England knitters who knit with the lovely Weybridge, give me a shout, ok?
Also….when did WordPress get fancy? Have I been gone that long? I feel like I have to re-learn how to blog, damnit.
It’s nice to be back.

WordPress got fancy about a week ago. Pissed all of us off. LOL Glad to see you’re back! I was just wondering about you the other day. I can’t wait to see the socks!
Yay for Weybridge yarn!
